2-bedroom shared townhouse, St Johns Road

In time for Semester 1 in 2019 a room will be available for rent in a three storey terrace very close to Glebe, Camperdown, Annandale and the city. There is one room for rent, located on the bottom floor of the terrace. The other occupant (me) is on the very top floor so there is privacy for both.

The room has a wardrobe and desk, tennant can bring in their own pieces of other furniture. The photo shown has the previous person's set up. The rest of the house is set up and stable with household appliances in the kitchen such as microwave and washing machine in the bathroom.

Rent is split equally between occupants and paid monthly. Internet currently being used is iinet at $69. 95 per month (unlimited, fast), split between occupants. Other quarterly bills include water, gas and electricity (varies with usage). These bills are not included in weekly rent.

The room that is being offered for rent has its own courtyard that is accessible only from the room itself, affording privacy. As a keen gardener, I maintain the shared backyard that is quite spacious for the area. The backyard has a Hills Hoist for washing and plentiful spots to sit out and soak up some sun.

The house is 2 blocks to Sydney University which is less than a 5 minute walk, not far from RPA Hospital and buses are just up at the nearest cross-street or 2 blocks away on Parramatta Road at the Officeworks stop. On-street parking is available for anyone who has a car and the property has 2 parking permits registered, only one of which is being used.

I'm a quiet housemate who likes to keep the house clean of mess, appreciates mutual respect of this and would rather look for someone to live with who is seeking a home away from home, not just a room in a house. Sorry, no couples or other pets - I have a small dog who stays with me part time and he would get territorial if another animal stayed here too.
