2-bedroom shared house, Hollands Ave

Before the pandemic, I have hosted several overseas students for periods of up to 3 months, as well as academics.
I am now re-opening my home to host students.


LOCATION
I am offering a quiet, beautiful retreat in Sydney's Inner West for a single FEMALE student/ academic. This is a room in a shared home with an artist, close to Marrickville's exciting options for food and shopping.
The newly opened Marrickville Library is just down the road from my home, and offers another great space to work, with an alfresco cafe.
Also close is Marrickville's great Asian food options, famous Vietnamese rolls, and grocery shopping, as well as Woolies.
The house is opposite a park, with another large park five minutes away.


TRAVEL
A short (7 min) walk to Marrickville road with buses into the city, will take you directly to Sydney University.
The Bus 412 is even closer, a 2- minute walk that also takes you past Sydney University and Central.
A short ten minute walk takes you to the train station. Marrickville Station will take you to Central in 10 minutes.

THE ROOM
The guest bedroom has ceiling to floor wardrobes, a comfy double bed, a desk for working and a bedside chest of drawers. I provide all linen: sheets and towels, and I launder them as well.

BATHROOM
Though the bathroom is shared, there is an extra toilet in the laundry, which is also equipped with an ironing board and iron.
The washing machine is available for use and the back patio offers a huge space for hanging clothes.

KITCHEN
The kitchen has loads of cupboard space to include food storage and the fridge is shared.
There is a microwave oven, a toaster and kettle, and cooking utensils provided. I love cooking and have shared many meals with my guests, and vice versa.

SHARED SPACES
The lounge room is where I work, I am an academic and visual artist. It is also for guests to eat their meals here.
The back patio is large and offers another lovely space to read, study, eat or relax.

I have no pets and am a non smoker.

CONTRACT
There will be a contract signed for the period with details.
A $50. 00 monthly contribution towards Electricity and gas as well as laundry costs.
