3-bedroom shared house, Norton Street

The bedroom is 4. 3m x 4. 2m painted white, with floorboards and 4. 2m high ceiling. It has a large wardrobe and a single window which lets in a lot of natural light. It is the middle bedroom along a 14m hallway.

Ours is a fully-furnished, spacious 3-bedroom house in Leichhardt. It features a shared living space with sofas and a big screen TV, paved front courtyard, high ceilings, floorboards throughout, storage area and a huge backyard full of plants, with a seating area.

We're in a fantastic location, with easy access to buses (Sydney and Red Metrobus - which stop on Parramatta Road at Sydney Uni) and the Leichhardt North Light Rail station a 150m walk. We are close to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, Palace Cinema, and in walking distance to the Bay Run.

All bills are shared fairly - bills include:
- Cleaner is paid fortnightly and is split evenly among housemates
- Internet is paid monthly and is split evenly among housemates
- Streaming services: Foxtel Now, Netflix, Stan and Prime are paid monthly and are split evenly among housemates
- Electricity, gas and water usage are paid quarterly and are split evenly among housemates
- Buying household items eg. Cleaning products, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper etc. Is a shared responsibility - housemates take turns.
We do our own thing food wise.

We are Becca (works full-time in Education and is undertaking a post grad certificate at Sydney Uni part-time), and Igor (works part-time as a book seller and studies programming full time).

We are a calm, quiet home and we're looking for a kind and considerate person, with a positive purpose in their work or study life. We think it's great to have a friendship within the home, but it's important that we all respect each other's space. Keeping the house tidy is a shared responsibility, which we all make an effort to maintain. Each room of our house is fully furnished, so we are looking for someone without a lot of household furniture / stuff.

Machiavelli and Aurora are 4-year-old cat siblings. They sleep inside at night, but spend their days roaming the garden, sunning themselves on the grass or snoozing in the sunroom. They are very low maintenance; signs of them in the communal areas are water and biscuit bowl in the hallway nook, and one litter tucked away in the bathroom (for use at night). They are delightful housemates!
