I am offering a quiet beautiful retreat in Sydney's Inner West for FEMALE students and academics. This is a room in a shared home with an artist, close to Marrickville's exciting options for food and shopping. A short (7 min) walk to Marrickville road with buses into the city, will take you directly to Sydney University. The Bus 412 is even closer, a 2- minute walk that also takes you past Sydney University and Central. A short ten minute walk takes you to the train station.

Hosting: Last year I hosted three students over nine months. I have been travelling overseas and am now listing my new location.

The kitchen is available for cooking, with a microwave oven as well, and has lots of cupboard space to share with guests.

I am happy to suggest places and events for people to visit, and give directions to first -time visitors. My guests in the past have loved my home. This is a new location, more spacious, but welcoming and convenient, with loads of fantastic Asian eateries and groceries.

The newly opened Marrickville Library is just down the road from my home, and offers another great space to work, with an alfresco cafe.

The guest bedroom has ceiling to floor wardrobes, a comfy double bed and a desk for working.
Though the bathroom is shared, there is an extra toilet in the laundry. The washing machine is available for use and the back patio offers a huge space for hanging clothes.

I offer a fully furnished home with all linen provided.
